MUIDS Battle of the Bands 2026

MUIDS Battle of the Bands 2026 is slated for Wednesday, April 8, 2026, from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM, at the Prince Mahidol Hall (Mahidol Siddhikara Hall). Organized by Mahidol University International Demonstration School (MUIDS) in collaboration with the MUIDS Folk Song Club, the annual event serves as a platform for student musicians to showcase their artistry in a professional concert‑hall setting.

Each year, the competition attracts passionate bands from across grade levels. Following a rigorous audition and selection process, four finalist bands earn the opportunity to advance to the final round and perform on one of Thailand’s most prestigious stages. The 2026 edition is presented under the theme “Supersonic Soundblast,” with the slogan “Break the Silence, Brighten the Night,” reflecting the explosive energy, ambition, and creativity of young performers.

Beyond the competition itself, the event is designed as a holistic learning experience, encouraging teamwork, discipline, collaboration, and artistic confidence. By stepping onto a world‑class stage, students gain invaluable performance experience while exploring music as a powerful form of expression capable of energizing audiences and transcending boundaries.

The afternoon program culminates in an awards ceremony, followed by special live performances from Timethai and Tilly Birds, offering attendees an exciting blend of emerging talent and established artists.
