Experience the grandeur of one of the world’s most beloved musicals as “The Phantom of the Opera” returns to Muangthai Rachadalai Theatre from Aug. 5 to 31, 2025, for a strictly limited engagement. Presented by Tero-Scenario, this Bangkok staging marks the production’s long-awaited return to Thailand after 12 years.

Based on Gaston Leroux’s 1910 gothic novel "Le Fantôme de L’Opéra" and adapted by Andrew Lloyd Webber, “The Phantom of the Opera” follows the tale of a mysterious figure haunting the Paris Opera House and his obsessive love for the young soprano Christine Daaé. This timeless story of music, passion, and heartbreak has captivated over 160 million viewers in 195 cities worldwide.

Join Bangkok Youth Opera for its most anticipated performance of the year — W.A. Mozart’s "Le Nozze di Figaro" — staged in grand style at CU Music Hall, Chulalongkorn University on Aug. 21, 23, and 28 at 7 p.m. This timeless opera blends comedy, romance, and social commentary into one of the most brilliant scores ever written.

Under the baton of Trisdee na Patalung, the full orchestra will deliver Mozart’s music with nuance and flair. The production is directed by Chutimta Puttikulangura in her first major opera staging, with choreography by Darren Royston.

Baritone Jorn Yasavudhi leads the cast as Figaro, with Punyanuch Wattanavinin and Pishayatan Sungvornvetchaparn alternating as Susanna. International soprano Barbora Michalcovská brings elegance to the role of the Countess, opposite John Tneoh as the Count. Thanmika Sumrankit debuts as Cherubino, with standout performances by Barbara Zion and Krittathad Pisutthiwong rounding out the ensemble.
