Porsche Unseen Design Studies Makes Holiday Debut at Curvistan

Untitled design 2024 11 28 T103511 321 Photo by Facebook/ Curvistan

Gear up, car enthusiasts! Just in time for the holidays, Curvistan Bangkok is hosting a limited-time “Porsche Unseen Design Studies” exhibition from Nov. 22, 2024, to Feb. 28, 2025. A collaboration between Curves magazine founder Stefan Bogner and entrepreneur Chanond Ruangkritya (the visionary behind Porsche Design Tower Bangkok), this event promises a rare peek into the creative world of Porsche’s design studio.

Curvistan
Facebook/Curvistan

What’s the big draw? Porsche’s secret concept cars, developed under Michael Mauer, Vice President of Style Porsche, over the last 20 years. These designs, once hidden from the public eye, showcase the brand’s innovative spirit and forward-thinking artistry.

Vision Spyder
Facebook/Curvistan

The star of the show is the Vision Spyder — a full-scale reinterpretation of the lightweight, sporty roadsters that Porsche engineers perfected in the 1950s. Paying homage to the legendary 550 Spyder (yes, the one that conquered the 1954 Carrera Panamericana), the Vision Spyder boasts a minimalist cockpit, sleek rear fins, and signature red racing stripes. It’s a perfect blend of retro inspiration and modern design.

But that’s not all. Visitors can explore other scaled-down design concepts, including the rugged Macan Vision Safari, futuristic hypercars like the Vision 918 RS and Vision 920, and the electrifying Vision E, a Formula E-inspired customer race car.

Entrance is free, making this a must-see for anyone who loves design, engineering, or simply drooling over beautiful cars.

For more information, visit Curvistan Bangkok on Facebook and Instagram.

Location: Curvistan Bangkok, 5 Sukhumvit 38 Alley, Phra Khanong, Khlong Toei, Bangkok 10110

Opening Hours: Monday to Sunday, from 8 AM to 6 PM
