Banking on the revival of the tourism industry, Centara Hotels & Resorts bared projects and expansion plans not only in Thailand but also in Vietnam to boost their property portfolio.

In a press release, Centara announced that it signed a Hotel Management Agreement (HMA) to reopen Phi Phi Paradise Company Limited’s Villa 360 as Centara Villas Phi Phi Island in Thailand in October this year and introduce Tiva Ao Makham Resort Phuket, which is set to be Centara’s 11th hotel on the island. Tiva Ao will focus on health and wellness travel.

Meanwhile, two properties are set to open in Vietnam in the city of Vun Tau. The Centara Life Vung Tau offers modern amenities for guests, and the Centara Residence Dio Dua offers a warm and more intimate experience.

Centara is also expanding to the northern part of Vietnam with the opening of Crystal Holidays Harbor Van Don’s second tower in Q2 2025. This is expected to complement the amenities that the first tower is currently offering.

Andrew Langston, Centara Hotel & Resorts Vice President of Business Development, emphasised that this expansion represents a significant achievement for the company and opens opportunities for potential international collaborations, which will play a pivotal role in shaping the future direction of Centara's hospitality offerings.
