Ani-Com and Games Expo Returns July 29 for Otakus and Gamers

Hong Kong’s very own Ani-Com and Games Expo returns in 2022, bringing together manga, anime, video games, collectibles, and music to the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre in Wan Chai from July 29 to Aug. 2.

The five-day event is set to bring back the fan favoured Doujin Zone, a platform allowing fans to interact and show off their talents, with animation, game, dance, and singing performances held for all otakus.

Ani-Com's Cosplay Competition will test your creativity and ingenuity creating the finest of cosplay outfits and personas for a team of judges to rank your outfit among a wealth of attendees.

A public exhibition from 2020, Elefenpop Art and Toy Show, will also make a comeback at the Wan Chai convention, showcasing a variety of figurine collections by various artists and the latest toy figures from Japan, Asia, and beyond. Limited edition items will go on sale for attendees to fawn over and snap up!

You can stay updated with the daily schedule on the expo’s Facebook page, so you won’t miss guest panel talks, cosplay competitions, e-sports tournaments, and art events. Tickets can be purchased at any convenience store in Hong Kong or directly at the convention centre on the day.
