French Science Festival on November 22 to Present the Country's Achievements in Neuroscience
Hong Kong’s Science Museum and the Consulate General of France will present the French Science Festival: [Brain]storm in November, showcasing the achievements of France in the neurosciences.
Running from tomorrow to Nov. 22, the festival marks the 30th anniversaries of the Hong Kong Science Museum and the French Science Festival, with the Science Machina exhibition as its highlight.
The theme of this year is “[BRAIN]STORM,” honoring French excellence in the neurosciences with topics on feelings, perception, and dreams.
The exhibition at the Salisbury Garden in Tsim Sha Tsui features a series of comics inspired by 12 scientific machines used or partly developed by the French Alternative Energies & Atomic Energy Commission or the French National Institute of Health & Medical Research.
The festival has been held since 1991, an annual event of French scientific culture in Hong Kong and Macao.
The fields of science, chemistry, and electronics are also covered in the festival, the 30th anniversary of the celebration of French scientific experiences, achievements, and discoveries.
Entrance to the festival is free and more information can be found on the Hong Kong Science Museum website.
