CaN LaH IFC Reopens with New Seafood Menu Fusing Singaporean-Malay Flavours

Embark on a culinary journey through the vibrant flavors of Southeast Asia with CaN LaH's new seafood menu, featuring a modern twist on Singaporean and Malaysian dishes. Under the guidance of Chef Francis Chong, CaN LaH's newly reopened Central location introduces a selection of seafood delights infused with authentic regional spices. Of course, highlights from the menu will also be available at their Tsim Sha Tsui branch.

One of the highlights of the new menu is the Baked Seremban Crab (HK$538), inspired by the iconic dish from Seremban, Malaysia. Slow-cooked to perfection, the freshly caught crabs are paired with a unique sauce made of orange juice, evaporated milk, and chili, offering a harmonious blend of sweet, sour, salty, and spicy flavors.

Equally enticing is the Fried Crab with Cheese and Salted Egg Yolk Sauce (HK$538), a Singaporean classic with a twist. Chef Zhang enhances the traditional recipe with salted egg yolk, curry leaves, and evaporated milk, creating a deep-fried delight bursting with complex layers of sweetness and tanginess.

For a refreshing option, try the Deep-fried Prawn Balls with Passion Fruit Salad Dressing (HK$248), featuring homemade passion fruit sauce and succulent prawn balls. The Stir-fried Spicy Kuruma Prawn (HK$98 per piece) offers a delightful mix of locally sourced bamboo shrimp seasoned with Singaporean bean paste and Malaysian soy glaze.

Dive into comfort with the Fried Tofu with Minced Pork and Choy Sum (HK$98), a homage to the home-style dishes of Singapore and Malaysia. Finally, savour the Kuala Lumpur Hokkien Noodles (HK$138), packed with authentic flavors and enriched with pork lard and freshwater fish.

The restaurant is also offering a Set Lunch (HK$528) menu throughout the week, as well as an all new Happy Hour promotion exclusive to their Central IFC branch.
