However, the best centres, packed with flashy gadgets and beeping electronics, are where you should be to find cheap electronics and gadgets in Hong Kong.

Wan Chai Computer Centre

Conveniently located in the centre of bustling Wan Chai on Hennessy Road, with accompanying Wan Chai MTR exit A4 for easy access, Wan Chai Computer Centre is Hong Kong’s largest space for purchasing electronic gadgets, computer hardware, game consoles, cables, and second-hand products. The three floors of this retail mall are best for purchasing licensed electronic products from companies such as Apple, Samsung, SONY, Intel, Microsoft, and Panasonic.

Mong Kok Computer Centre

In the heart of noisy, busy Mong Kok on Nelson Street, the corner-computer store is best for small gadgets to purchase on a shopping spree in the dark side. The Mong Kok Computer Centre is best for phone cases, screen covers, cables, laptop widgets, and computer accessories. Some stores offer a unique customisable computer to create a desktop or laptop fit for your needs and made-to-order parts. The computer centre is easily accessed via the Mong Kok MTR station using exit D3 and E2.

Buying phone-related products and accessories is best in Sino Centre, a multi-storied small computer centre south of the Mong Kok Computer Centre. The second and third floors sell clothes, shoes, comics, and toys. Access the Sino Centre from exit D2 of the Mong Kok MTR station.

This Wan Chai-located electronics store is most famous for its variety of products sold within its doors and the old store signage on its façade dating the 1970s reading “298 電腦特區” (din6 nou5 dak6 keui1). Inside its ancient doors, you can find reliable service shops that will fix your broken computers, repair screens and cases, and diagnose any tricky software issues. Take the MTR to Wan Chai Station and exit from A2 heading east to find yourself at 298.

Golden Computer Arcade

This monolithic electronics store comprises three small Golden Computer departments: Arcade, Centre, and Computer. Like Sham Shui Po’s vintage and age-old feel, the Golden Computer Arcade has stores selling old computers and parts, early ‘00s and ‘90s game consoles and video games, and accessories for computer hardware. The Golden Computer Arcade sits directly opposite Sham Shui Po’s exit D2 in the MTR.
