Ride to new heights and speed through the city at the 2024 Sun Hung Kai Properties Hong Kong Cyclothon on 13 October 2024. This year, they’re offering two exhilarating routes: 50 km or 32 km.
For those who dream of cycling through tunnels and over bridges that are typically off-limits, the 50 km challenge is your ride.
Riders will start in Tsim Sha Tsui and travel over the Tsing Ma, Ting Kau, and Stonecutters Bridges. They will pass through the Cheung Tsing, Nam Wan, and Eagle’s Nest tunnels, including the new addition to the route: the Sha Tin Heights Tunnel.
If 50 km sounds like too much of an epic saga, the 32 km ride might be more your speed. It’s a picturesque tour of Hong Kong which will take riders past the International Commerce Center and over the Stonecutters and Ting Kau Bridges.

Both routes will finish at theWest Kowloon Cultural District, where you’ll be able to bask in your cycling glory and participate in the lively sports carnival at Wonderland. Think drinks,a cycling-themed market, yoga, stretching, dance fit workshops, and photo ops galore.
For families, don’t miss the Family Fun Ride, a circular route along Salisbury Road in East Tsim Sha Tsui, typically a no-go zone for bikes. It’s a perfect opportunity to bring the kids along and share the joy of cycling with them.
Local and Greater Bay Area riders, you haven’t been forgotten! Show off your skills in the Men's and Women's Open on the same day: the City Cycling Challenge around Greater Bay Area against the stunning backdrop of Victoria Harbour.
