Hong Kong foodies are in for an unprecedented treat as the city welcomes renowned Chinese-Egyptian chef Bobby Chinn for the first-ever Egyptian Food Festival. This culinary extravaganza, organized by The Consulate General of Egypt in Hong Kong and the Silver Oak Group, will take place in the evenings from September 12 to 16, 2023, at two sought-after venues: The Bayside in Hung Hom and F.I.G.S Bistro Mediterranean in Tai Koo Shing.

For just HK$498 per person (with an additional HK$200 for wine pairing), Bobby Chinn will take you on a gastronomic journey through Egypt. The five-course menu features a range of dishes—from the recipes of ancient Pharaohs to the most beloved plates found in Cairo's bustling souks. Signature dishes like Grapes Wrapped with Goat Cheese Encrusted with Pistachios and Foie Gras Terrine with Fresh Figs will also be showcased, with recipes straight from his popular cookbook.

Bobby Chinn, currently a judge and co-host on the Emmy-winning show "Top Chef Middle East," has a special connection to Hong Kong, having launched his sell-out cookbook "Wild Wild East" here, with a foreword by his friend, the late Anthony Bourdain.
