Hong Kong Wine and Dine Festival 2021: City Wine Walks, On-Air Tastings, and Resto Deals

Did someone say wine? Yes, please! If you’re team #WinoForever, then, like us, you’re probably over the moon about the Hong Kong Wine and Dine Festival, which runs from Nov. 1-30, 2021.

With a plethora of activities, programmes, and deals, the festival sure came ready and packed a punch in terms of preparing the best event for Hong Kong’s wine and food lovers.

Here’s a guide on what awaits you in this year’s Hong Kong Wine and Dine Festival.

City Wine Walk

Can anything get more exciting than a wine walk? The festival's City Wine Walk will have you marching through four districts (all within walking distance to each other!) as you explore 50 establishments' drinks and delicacies!

Start with a few glasses in Central’s edgy pubs and wine bars then head to Kennedy Town to gas up on small munchies before lumbering towards the neon-lit Wan Chai for some authentic, multinational cuisines. Cap off your walk at Tsim Sha Tsui for more food and wine in the area's plethora of restobars and – if you're not inebriated enough – catch sight of the gorgeous Victoria Harbour view.

The Classic Pass Lite costs HK$250 and gets you five e-tokens, which you can use at participating establishments to avail of a beverage or dish (available for one to three tokens). On-Air Tastings

Don't feel like going out for the festival? That's fair, you can still participate through its on-air tastings. Tune into nine free live-streaming programmes with different experts as they take you on a journey through the history and ways of cocktails, spirits, and wine.

You can also purchase exclusive tasting kits so you can taste your way through an expert's session. Just go to the Hong Kong Tourism Board's website to watch or rewatch the programmes.
