Happy Wednesday: Neon Nights lights up Happy Valley Racecourse on March 11, 18, and 25, 2026, with a vivid celebration of Hong Kong’s iconic neon heritage, brought to life through three dynamic Wednesday evenings of racing, live music, and cultural festivities.
Known globally as the neon city of the world, Hong Kong built its nighttime identity on glowing signs that defined its streets and skyline. While the city has evolved, that luminous spirit remains unmistakable. Neon Nights channels this legacy into a modern spectacle, where bold lights, trackside energy, and immersive entertainment come together for unforgettable midweek experiences.
The series begins on March 11 with a prelude to the highly anticipated BMW Hong Kong Derby, offering guests a thrilling introduction to one of the racing season’s most prestigious events. Derby-themed trivia invites friendly competition, while international singer Beverly delivers a lively performance packed with chart-topping favorites. The evening builds excitement ahead of the BMW Hong Kong Derby, set to take place at Sha Tin Racecourse on March 22, where four-year-old contenders compete for racing’s ultimate prize.
The momentum continues on March 18 with a festive celebration of St. Patrick’s Day. Celtic-inspired live music by The Young Bucks, Irish-influenced flavors, and vibrant green accents set the scene for a night filled with rhythm. The month culminates on March 25 with Disco Night, as Wendy Robin revives the infectious grooves of pulsating neon lights.
Throughout Neon Nights, public dining venues including The Beat and Vantage in the Pavilion Stand remain open until midnight, while themed dinners at Keiba, The Gallery, Stable Bend Terrace, and Leading Edge add elevated flavors and stunning racecourse views to each evening.
Make your midweek unforgettable at the city’s premier festive destination! Reservations can be made via bookingrc.hkjc.com. For the latest updates, follow @HKJCEntertainment on Instagram and Facebook.
