TedxHKU Annual #Hashtag Showcase Conference Opens Tickets for Feb. 11

TEDxHKU annual conference is back on Feb. 11 for its 2023 #Hashtag themed event, inviting six local Hong Kong speakers from diverse backgrounds and industries to introduce stories and new perspectives to an eager crowd.

Hosted at the Yuet Ming Auditorium at the University of Hong Kong campus in Pokfulam, the TEDx event invites banking wizz Vivian Li to host a talk of data assertization, PR Luca Lo Sicco speaking on creative imagination, ecological celebration by musician Luka Strings, meditation by co-founder of Choy Sum Health, Dino Hira, a talk on domestic workers by social entrepreneur Myles Ng, and mental health by Body Banter founder, Stephanie Ng.

In an ode to the theme of hashtags, the event organisers ask “What does hashtag actually mean to us? What do we talk about when we talk about an individual? Does it all trickle down to one hashtag?”

“In a world of algorithms, identifying ourselves seems easier, but also harder. Join us to embark on this journey of deconstructing and reconstructing YOUR very own hashtags!”
