'The World Trade Center: Before Memory' Photography Exhibition
A city remembered through film and memory comes into focus at “The World Trade Center: Before Memory” from Sept. 1 to Oct. 31, 2026, at HKI Gallery. Featuring black-and-white photographs captured by Hong Kong artist Gretchen So in New York during the early 1990s, the exhibition revisits a time when the Twin Towers were part of the city's everyday skyline.
Rather than treating them as monuments, So photographed them from streets, bridges, waterfronts, and public spaces, revealing how deeply they were woven into daily life. Through never-before-seen images, reflections on memory and absence, and a portrait of a city later transformed by history, the exhibition offers a moving look at how photographs can take on new meaning across generations. KINO/26 German Film Festival 2026
A cinematic journey across Germany and beyond unfolds at KINO/26 German Film Festival from Sept. 17 to Oct. 4, 2026, at MOViE MOViE Pacific Place, Broadway Cinematheque, and Hong Kong Film Archive. Fly Me to the Moon – An Immersive Space Exhibition
Journey 380,000 kilometers beyond Earth at Fly Me to the Moon: A 380,000 km Odyssey from Oct. 2 to Nov. 22, 2026, from 10 AM to 9 PM, at K11 MUSEA. This immersive space exhibition transforms a trip to the moon into a multi-sensory adventure through large-scale projections, interactive technology, lunar landing simulations, and futuristic moon-habitat design experiences powered by AI.
Beyond the ticketed exhibition, giant planet installations and aerospace-themed displays are spread across K11 MUSEA, Avenue of Stars, and Salisbury Garden, turning Victoria Harbour into a cosmic playground. Admission is HK$200 for adults and HK$175 for children under 12.
