New Pet-Friendly Shake Shack Debuts with Community Day, July 21
Shake Shack, the beloved American fast-food chain, marks its latest venue in Hong Kong's Metroplaza shopping center, featuring an al-fresco dining area that welcomes the city's pets.
In an effort to demonstrate the brand’s philosophy of Standing For Something Good®, the Metroplaza Shack is organizing a Community Day on July 21. The event is a collaboration with Lifelong Animal Protection Charity (LAP HK), an organization committed to assisting distressed animals in Hong Kong and ensuring they find loving homes.
The festivities include adoption sessions for rescued animals under LAP HK's care, and a charity sale event, the profits of which will be donated to support LAP HK's rescue and shelter efforts for stray cats and dogs. Furthermore, the Metroplaza Shack will donate 5% of its Shack Attack sales to LAP HK, backing their continued mission to improve animal lives.
As part of the ongoing efforts to involve the community, the Metroplaza Shack also introduces Y’appy Hour. Any guest visiting with their pet will receive a complimentary Pooch-ini with any food or drink purchase.
The 1,200-square-foot restaurant, featuring seating for up to 76, is adorned with a vibrant mural by Filipina artist Reana Bachiller. The first 100 guests attending the official opening on July 22 at 12 PM, will receive an exclusive T-shirt and reversible bucket hat, while stocks last.
