From Oct. 25, 2025, four globally beloved characters — Japanese character Doraemon, KAWS & Sesame Street’s Elmo, McDonald’s Grimace, and Kasing Lung’s LABUBU — will first be displayed as giant floating inflatable sculptures in the waters off Tamar Park in Admiralty, before setting sail on Nov. 1, cruising between Kowloon and Hong Kong Island on an unprecedented scale.

Alongside the parade, an eight-day Water Parade Market will unfold at the Central & Western District Promenade, featuring even more international IP-themed pop-up shops, food and beverage stalls, skill games, exclusive photo spots, and a capsule toy zone.
Visitors can also expect experiences with more IPs such as Netflix’s “K-Pop Demon Hunters,” “Stranger Things Season 5,” and “Squid Game,” Snoopy and the Peanuts™ characters, and Hong Kong’s classic TOLO Founding Duck.

Early bird tickets for the Water Parade Market will go live for pre-purchase on KLOOK starting Sept. 26, 2025, at 12 PM. Tickets are priced from HK$40 (Children Aged 11 and below), HK$50 (Adult, Nov. 1), HK$70 (Adult, Weekdays), and HK$80 (Adult, Weekend & Public Holiday).
On Nov. 1, the Viewing Platform Special Ticket is priced at HK$150 for everyone, until stocks last.

A global musical classic is set to return to the Hong Kong stage this summer.
Andrew Lloyd Webber’s “CATS” is set to open on Aug. 6, 2026, at the Grand Theater, Xiqu Centre, with performances running through Aug. 16, announced by Season Entertainment, GWB Entertainment, and SMG Live.
Featuring a magnificent musical score by the legendary Andrew Lloyd Webber and based on Old Possum’s Book of Practical Cats by T.S. Eliot, the musical first premiered in 1981 at the New London Theatre and later transferred to Broadway’s Winter Garden Theatre a year later. The musical features iconic numbers, including “Memory,” alongside its iconic choreography, elaborate set design, and larger-than-life costumes.
