Marked as Hong Kong’s largest ever beach party music festival, TheNextWave is this summer’s hottest ticketed event for music and beach lovers, and we have all the details for you here.

Taking place on Jul. 29 and Jul. 30 in Tai Pak Bay Beach, Discovery Bay on Lantau Island, TheNextWave invites more than three dozen artists from Hong Kong, China, and Taiwan for fifteen hours of great music on the hot July weekend.

The beach music festival will be hosted in an area larger than Hong Kong Stadium, accommodating more than 10,000 people, who can enjoy water slides and sea pools to cool off, visual art performances from lifestyle brands in cabanas, or spend your weekend aboard luxurious yachts sailing on the high seas.

Top artist headliners at TheNextWave Beach Music Festival

With dozens of local and international singers and DJ performances celebrating the hot stages of the music festival, expect to see someone big names, including Hong Kong acts Jeffrey, The Hertz, Jay Fung, and JB. Taiwanese heartthrob Eric Chou will be there too, as well as Nowhere Boys, DJ Sitrus, Sabrina Cheung, and Whizz.

Ticket information

A one-day ticket for the festival costs HK$580 and includes one free drink. A two-day pass costs HK$980 with also one free drink. Tickets are available for purchase via Klook.
