Luxury Auction House Phillips Opens a Café Within Their Asia Headquarters

Luxury auction house Phillips recently unveiled their very own café last March 18 in Hong Kong’s West Kowloon Cultural District.

Perfect for those looking to fill their stomachs while attending auctions, the café offers Western and Asian menu options for breakfast, lunch, and afternoon tea, alongside a selection of coffee and non-coffee beverages. Guests can also track live auction progress as updates are streamed on screens in the café.

From French butter croissant and smoked salmon and cream cheese bagel to roasted chicken leg with broccoli and mashed potato to 12-hour braised rib and braised Chinese e-fu noodles, the place offers something to satisfy your cravings. For the health-conscious folks, they have Caesar salads, along with plant-based options as well.

A café experience wouldn’t be complete without the drinks. Pair your meals with classic brews like latte, flat white, americano, and espresso, or choose among their wide selection of teas, soft drinks, and smoothies for non-coffee options. View the full menu here.

Aside from the usual menu items, the café will be featuring specialty items inspired by Phillips’ sales and exhibitions on view in the galleries. Right now, they have a special dessert called “Gold Waterfall” inspired by the renowned art collective teamLab's “Universe of Water Particles - Gold,” which is presented in Phillips' New Now auction.

Located within their Asia headquarters at the WKCDA Tower, the place features a minimalist interior designed by Hong Kong’s award-winning studio LAAB Architects with floor-to-ceiling windows that create natural lighting within the space.
