ICYDK: The First-Ever Kuala Lumpur Cocktail Week Is Happening This April

Raise your glasses and celebrate the art of mixology at the first-ever Kuala Lumpur Cocktail Week (KLCW) this coming April 24 to 30. The week-long event will feature an exciting lineup of activities, including drink booths, live music, masterclasses, and more.

One of the event’s highlights is the “KLCW Open 2024,” an online cocktail showdown where talented bartenders can show off their skills to be hailed as the best bartender in the city. The audition was closed last March 21 – the top 20 will be announced by April 1 and the top 6 by April 8. You can watch them compete live in the finals at KLCW Village on April 27.

Throughout the week, KLCW will shake things up and take over the city partnering with local speakeasies like Bar Trigona, JungleBird, Remedy Cocktail Bar, Soma, and Penrose. Of course, there will be international bars participating as well — they’ll be announced soon!

KLCW is sponsored by international brands like Bombay Sapphire, Hendrick’s Gin, Remy Martin, Roku Gin, and more, so you can expect high-end quality drinks. You and your friends can enjoy nights of drinking and learning as you dive deep into the world of cocktails.
