Kuala Lumpur singles can swap swiping for serving this October as Thursday KL brings their Traffic Light Padel Party to ASCARO Padel and Social Club at TREC.

Happening on Oct. 10, 2026, from 4 PM to 7 PM, the 25-and-older event combines padel, mingling, and a color-coded wristband system designed to make everyone's relationship status easier to read. Green means single and ready to mingle, yellow signals that things are "complicated," while red is reserved for wingmen and wingwomen supporting their single friends.

The event is open to experienced players and complete beginners. ASCARO will have a padel coach on hand to give first-timers a quick introduction, while rackets and balls will be provided as part of the ticket.

Guests will also receive one drink on arrival, plus towels for anyone planning to use the showers after working up a sweat on court.

Once everyone has warmed up, the afternoon will move into a friendly match with prizes up for grabs and a King and Queen of the Court set to be crowned. Thursday also brings its Side Quests feature to the event. Participants can opt in to receive live prompts on their phones, with each challenge designed to give them an excuse to approach and talk to someone new.

For those considering whether they can show up alone or bring a friend, Thursday says 40% of their event attendees come alone.
