Yotel to Debut in Malaysia With Its New 290-Room Hotel

A new accommodation choice is landing soon in Malaysia, as hotel group Yotel announced its entry into the country with Yotel Kuala Lumpur.

To be developed in partnership with High Street Holdings, the new hotel is set to open its doors to the public in 2025. It will be located at the Kuala Lumpur City Centre, the city’s central business district.

With its prime location, the hotel will be near some of the country’s biggest companies and most raved-about destinations, such as the Petronas Towers, Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre, and Bukit Bintang’s shopping malls.

The hotel will also house a total of 290 rooms and various amenities for the convenience of its guests. This includes a rooftop pool and bar, a multi-functional dining and co-working space, as well as a fitness centre, among many others.

The Malaysia opening will add to Yotel’s various locations across the world, following London, Amsterdam, Miami, New York, and Singapore, among others. Yotel Kuala Lumpur also joins Tokyo and Bangkok as the brand’s soon-to-open hotels in Asia.

"Following the success of Yotel Orchard Road and YotelAir Changi Airport in Singapore, expanding our brands in Malaysia forms an essential part in growing our operating cluster, distribution strategy, and brand awareness in Southeast Asia,” said Hubert Viriot, chief executive officer at Yotel, in a press release.
