Celebrate Valentines Day in Malaysia Differently With These Fun Events

Every year on Feb. 14, people celebrate love and romance by going out to a nice restaurant, watching a movie, or giving their other half a bouquet of roses and chocolates.

If you want to take a timeout from these usual Valentine’s Day activities, we’ve put together a list of fun and creative events in Malaysia this season of love – from strolling around a community market to attending a music workshop and everything in between.

Sunny Side Up Market: Valentine's Edition 2023

Sunny Side Up Market, a curated community market, will celebrate the season of love by hosting a special Valentine's Day market on Feb. 11 and 12 from 11 AM to 6 PM at Slate, The Row!

For couples who have started decorating their own house, this market is the perfect place for aesthetically pleasing home finds. Most products available at the market are made by local artisans and crafters.

Other products you can snag at this special market are fashion pieces, accessories, beauty and wellness items, and souvenirs. Take note that the community market welcomes everyone including your furry pals, so feel free to bring them with you when you go shopping here.
