Rise early this Saturday morning and head to The Kuala Lumpur Performing Arts Centre (klpac) to catch Kabut in the Park, a yard sale that makes it possible for the community to shop consciously and sustainably, reduce their carbon footprint, and meet like-minded individuals.
If bargain hunting is your thing or you're simply getting started on leading a low-waste lifestyle, Kabut in the Park is the place to be. With more than 40 KonMari vendors, expect to find unique vintage and upcycled pieces, as well as gadgets, toys, clothing, books, plants, shoes, and more.
The vendors will also offer some things for free, so check the Free Bins at the event to save up on a few ringgits.
It's advised to bring your own cups, cutlery, containers, and bags to the event because all food and beverages will be sold packaging-free. You may also buy “tapauware” from the KonMari vendors, which will get you RM2 off food and drinks.
Families making the visit will also love the petting zoo at the event, exclusive for this month only, which allows shoppers to cuddle with the pets and relax after a day of shopping.
Kabut in the Park will only run one day on June 3, from 9 AM-2 PM.
Location: Outdoor Carpark, Kuala Lumpur Performing Arts Centre, Sentul Park, Jalan Strachan off Jalan Sultan Azlan Shah
