American singer-songwriter Ari Leff, popularly known as LAUV, has reportedly cancelled his sold-out “The Between Albums” tour in Kuala Lumpur. The concert was originally scheduled for Sept. 6-7 at the Plenary Hall in Kuala Lumpur Convention Center.

This was shared by Malaysian fans who purchased the show’s tickets after receiving an email from Live Nation Malaysia, its organiser, saying that the two-day concert has been cancelled.

The notice mentioned that the show was nixed due to “unforeseen circumstances,” but fans speculate that this might be related to the cancellation of the Good Vibes Festival on July 21. LAUV and Live Nation Malaysia have yet to issue an official statement about the cancellation.

The organiser and its ticketing partner, GoLive Asia, will be issuing refunds to all ticket holders. According to the notice, GoLive Asia has also sent emails to ticket holders regarding the refund process.

Fans are surprised over the announcement as LAUV’s tour was originally set for one night only, but due to popular demand, the singer added a second show in the city which was soon sold out.
