Diageo's Mixology Competition in HK & Macau Returns with Exciting Lineup
Prepare yourself for a vibrant celebration of mixology, as alcoholic beverage company Diageo’s World Class Competition is making its comeback in Macau and Hong Kong this year, featuring exhilarating events and a top-tier bar lineup.
This year, the competition will see 20 talented bartenders and mixologists from both cities competing to craft sensational cocktails using the Johnnie Walker Black Label and Don Julio. The competition will take on two themes, namely “Beyond Nightcap” and “2030 Margarita.”
Twelve contestants will then be picked to participate in the semi-finals, happening in early June. One of them will ultimately take the crown and advance to the global stage at the World Class Global Final, taking place this September in Shanghai.
To make the competition more exciting, liqueur connoisseurs are invited to delve into the cities’ mixology scene by visiting the event’s participating bars from now until May 10.
In Macau, participating bars include Aji, Aux Beaux Arts, Gordon Ramsay Pub and Grill, The Mews, and Vida Rica Bar.
Meanwhile, Hong Kong bars featured are Lockdown, Argo, COA, Bar Leone, Mercury Recalls, Penicillin, Ozone, Dio Cafe Bar, 001 Bar, The Old Man Bar, Qura, and Gishiki Lounge.
