MGM Brings “Art-Zoo Splashes of Joy” to Barra District

Looking for a weekend activity with a splash of whimsical fun? MGM has transformed Macau’s Barra District into a colorful, ocean-themed wonderland with its latest family-friendly attraction- an inflatable playground “Art-Zoo Splashes of Joy” World of Wonders running from now until Feb. 17, 2025.
Created by renowned Singaporean artist Jackson Tan, the playground aims to raise awareness about marine environmental protection through art, play, and education.
The 27-meter-long, 6-meter-wide inflatable playground features three distinct zones inspired by the ocean’s depths for exploration and play including the Sunlit Zone, Twilight Zone, and Midnight Zone – a dark and dreamy realm inspired by underwater creatures.
Adding to the fun is Bruno Bear, an inflatable mascot dressed as a diver, standing proudly at Barra Pond, to raise awareness about protecting marine life. Nearby, an inflatable submarine in the Dock Area screens environmental videos, making the learning experience interactive and engaging.

MGM is also rolling out free, eco-friendly workshops on weekends and public holidays from Jan. 11-12, 18-19, 25-26, and Feb. 1-2, 8-9. Kids and parents can create reusable gifts like colorful flowerpots and bags, promoting sustainable habits through fun crafts.
In addition, MGM has invited eco-friendly SMEs to showcase their products at Barra Kitchen, encouraging visitors to embrace Naked Shopping — a waste-free retail concept that minimizes packaging.
Tickets for Art-Zoo Splashes of Joy are available online here. Each session lasts 45 minutes, and advance booking via this link is required.
