The iconic voice of Johnny Chiang, dubbed the "Prince of Melancholy" from Taiwan's vibrant pop culture, is set to resonate in Macau. From the heart-touching ballads of the 1980s to the deep, evocative melodies of the present, Johnny's songs have shaped countless memories. As he approaches the 40th milestone of his illustrious career, join him in celebrating the tracks that have marked our most poignant life moments.
Recall the innocence of youth with "Looking Back Again" or the anguished heartbreaks of young adulthood echoed in "The Last Tenderness". Feel the weight of life's dreams and regrets with "After Many Years", and find solace in the peace of maturity with "Restless Heart". As we age, we find that life, though seemingly simple, is filled with profound moments of love, loss, joy, and regret. Johnny Chiang's songs capture these emotions beautifully, making us realize that life's essence can be found in his melodies.

The 4th Macao International Queer Film Festival (MIQFF) returns from June 5-27, 2026, bringing its largest program to date with a curated lineup of 24 feature films exploring LGBTQ+ stories, identities, and lived experiences from around the world.
This year’s edition carries the theme “Queertopia!/?,” reflecting on the evolving realities of queer life through cinema that challenges social norms, examines oppression, and celebrates love, freedom, and self-expression. As Macao’s only LGBTQ+-focused film festival, MIQFF continues its mission of fostering dialogue on gender and cultural diversity while creating a platform for queer voices to be seen and heard.
The festival opens with “Cyclone,” directed by Philip Yung, a drama following a transgender sex worker navigating identity, trauma, and survival after leaving Mainland China for Hong Kong. The film previously screened in the Big Screen Competition section at the International Film Festival Rotterdam 2026 and served as the closing film of the 2026 Hong Kong International Film Festival.
Alongside screenings, MIQFF also features post-film discussions, talks, and community events throughout Pride Month. Don't miss out!
