FIA Formula 3 World Cup Returns to Macau Grand Prix After 3-Year Absence
The flagship FIA Formula 3 World Cup race is set to return to this year's edition of the Macau Grand Prix after a three-year absence due to past COVID-19 pandemic restrictions.
Macau's annual Grand Prix will fill two consecutive weekends with races this year to mark the 70th anniversary of one of the city's most iconic tourism attractions and sport racing events. The exact dates are yet to be revealed.
Last year, after a two-year hiatus caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, racers from abroad made a comeback, albeit in a small number, alongside the long-awaited Macau Motorcycle Grand Prix.
The FIA Formula 3 World Cup provides the ideal opportunity to bring the best drivers of the year together in a legendary race. The Macau Grand Prix is a star-studded event that has seen winners such as Riccardo Patrese, Ayrton Senna, Michael Schumacher, David Coulthard, Ralf Schumacher, and Lucas di Grassi.
