MRT-3's Free Antigen Testing to End for Passengers on June 30
The Metro Rail Transit Line 3 (MRT-3) announced on Thursday that it will be ending its free antigen testing for passengers next week, June 30.
The initiative was launched last Jan. 11 by the management of the MRT-3 and the Department of Transportation (DOTr) in a bid to ensure the safety of its passengers against COVID-19. Since Jan. 28, the MRT-3 has not recorded any positive COVID-19 case from its antigen testing initiative for passengers.
According to DOTr MRT-3's Facebook post, passengers can avail of the free antigen testing in the North Avenue and Shaw Boulevard stations from 7 AM to 8 AM and in the Cubao and Shaw Boulevard stations from 4 PM to 5 PM until the end of the month.
Passengers need only to approach the testing areas in the stations and fill up the consent form.
