Two Popular Frankie’s Buffalo Wings Flavors Unavailable Due to Supply Problems

Local chicken wings joint Frankie's New York Buffalo Wings announced on social media on Tuesday, Sept. 27, that two of their popular flavors are currently unavailable due to limited access to key ingredients. Customers won’t be able to order their favorite Classic Buffalo and Salted Egg chicken for a while as the joint deals with global supply chain challenges.

“You deserve only the best,” their caption reads. “Which is why we’re doing everything we can to make our Classic Buffalo and Salted Egg flavors available soonest without compromising the taste that you’ve grown to love.”

Frankie's New York Buffalo Wings assured its customers, though, that customers can still order 12 more flavors — namely Caribbean Jerky, Cheesy Bacon, Garlic Parmesan, Hickory BBQ, Honey Garlic, Honey Mustard, Korean, Lemon Pepper, Nagoya Tesabaki, Osaka Toriniki, Salt and Pepper, and Smokey BBQ — made with the same love while they wait.

This is the latest in a string of supply crunch issues haunting local and international F&B owners. Restaurant and café Mary Grace had previously announced limited stocks of its best-selling ensaymada due to a lack of wheat supply, while local burger shop Angel’s Burger had been affected by a shortage of beef patties. As of writing, McDonalds’ medium and large fries are still unavailable on delivery platforms.
