Wendy’s Brings Mango Sticky Rice to PH

April is one of the hottest months in the Philippines. With the heat index reaching 40 degrees Celsius, having something cold can ease the sticky, humid feeling. Speaking of sticky, you can now beat the heat with Wendy’s new frosty flavor: the Mango Sticky Rice Frosty Overload!

Perfect for the summer season, the dessert combines the American fast-food chain’s iconic thick and creamy frosty with cubes of yellow mangoes, sticky rice, and a drizzle of mango sauce on top. Sounds familiar? Yup, it’s inspired by the popular Thai dessert. And if you ask us, it’s a perfect combination!

Jollibee Drops All-New Chicken Nuggets

Well-loved Filipino fast-food chain Jollibee just shook the internet by dropping their all-new crispy and juicy chicken nuggets! This chicken joy on the go is perfect for when you’re looking for a quick snack or an ulam (viand) when you’re not in the mood to cook for baon (packed meal). You can get them in either six or 10 pieces, but they are also available in four pieces for Kiddie Meals. Let’s not forget about the dips! The bite-sized version of pure happiness has three sauce options: BBQ Ketchup, Sriracha Mayo, and Ranch.

In case you don’t know, they also have Buko Pandan Sundae as part of their summer specials! Available until May 31 only, the new dessert features Jollibee’s vanilla soft-serve ice cream with buko (cocounut) strips, buko pandan jelly, and pandan syrup.

McDonald’s ‘WcDonald’s’ Lands in PH

Yup, you read that right! The American fast-food restaurant pays homage to anime and manga series by turning their iconic logo upside down, which is usually used in various fictional series. Through this campaign, they promote their new spicy sauce for the McNuggets: the savory chili sauce.

Now, what’s so special about it? The packaging features the flipped logo, along with manga-inspired packaging! The special menu set comes with six-piece chicken nuggets, fries, your choice of drink, and of course, the special sauce. Available in medium and large meal options, fans can now have their hands on these items for a limited time only.

Samgyupsalamat’s First-Ever K-Branch in Malate

One of the popular Korean BBQ restaurants in the Philippines, Samgyupsalamat opens their newest branch in Malate – and it’s different from their usual outlets! The outlet is ideal for celebrations or bonding sessions with a private KTV room and function room.

They also have an in-house photobooth spot, where you can your loved ones can snap some cute pics in hanbok or adorable headbands. Just beside the photobooth area is the K-Deli corner, where you can buy marinated meat and sides to take home. It’s a complete K-experience in one convenient location within the heart of Manila.
