ICYDK: BGC Bus Just Launched a New Route to and From LRT Gil Puyat
With long lines for jeepney rides and expensive fares through ride-hailing apps, it’s no secret that commuting to Bonifacio Global City (BGC) can be a bit of a hassle for those without a personal vehicle. Good thing there are buses going to and from the area – and just recently BGC Bus launched a new route to and from LRT Gil Puyat.
With trips starting at 6 AM and ending at 10 AM on weekdays, the planned route will pass by One Ayala Terminal and McKinely Exchange Corporate Center – allowing passengers to hop in and off at the most convenient location near their destination.
No matter where you are going, the bus charges P15 per ride. One thing to keep in mind though, is that they use the Beep card system for contactless payment. You can simply tap your card on the reader next to the bus driver upon entering or before getting off.
If you don’t have a Beep card, you can buy them in LRT stations or opt for physical QR tickets that you can get at their terminals located at the back of Market! Market! facing C-5 or at the intersection of EDSA and McKinley Road in Makati City.
BGC Bus is the exclusive bus company authorized to operate within the BGC. It offers various routes connecting Makati and BGC in Taguig. For more updates, follow BGC’s Facebook page.
