PAWS Launches ‘FURst Date’ Where You Can Have a Playdate with a Rescue Pet

Love month isn’t over yet, so if you’re still looking for a date, we got you! Spend special moments with a rescue pet for 30 minutes at the Philippine Animal Welfare Society’s (PAWS) “FURst Date” event from Feb. 15-17 and help support a cause.

During your booked slot, you can have a playdate with a dog or cat of your choice at their shelter located along Aurora Boulevard corner Katipunan Avenue in Quezon City. Unfortunately, all slots for Feb. 17 have been booked, but don’t worry, they are still accepting reservations for Feb. 16!

If you cannot personally come to the shelter, you can also sponsor a shelter animal to go on a date with one of the shelter’s volunteers. For the sponsored date, PAWS will pick animals that haven’t been chosen yet — and, of course, you will receive a special video of the sponsored date in your email.

The date is worth P750 per head, and is inclusive of snacks and drinks, a PAWS souvenir, and “a guaranteed memorable Valentine’s Day experience.” And if you want to post and share your special moment online, don’t worry because they have four Instagrammable spots for you to take photos in!

With the proceeds from the “FURst DAte,” PAWS hopes to support over 200 animals under their woof.
