Pasig City Declares Maybunga Rainforest Park as a Permanent Rainforest Park
The city of Pasig continues its call for additional greenery in the middle of the bustling city as the local government officially declares Maybunga Rainforest Park as a permanent rainforest park during its anniversary on Feb. 3.
The city also inaugurated additional new facilities inside the park for citizens of all ages, including Senior Citizens’ Park, Kiddie Playland, and a new pet park for our furry companions.
With a total of 12 new amenities inside the newly improved park, Pasig City aims to maintain the rainforest park and provide an open space for its citizens.
The Maybunga Rainforest Park, initially covering nine hectares, now retains a total land area of 6.8 hectares and will be stipulated under Ordinance 26, Series of 2023, which officially designates it as a permanent rainforest park.
You can visit the rainforest park located at F. Legaspi Ave., Maybunga, Pasig City.
