D’FESTA PH: An Immersive Visual Celebration Of K-Pop Artists

K-Pop history is about to be made at the heart of Bonifacio Global City as the world-renowned exhibition, D’Festa, finally arrives on Philippine shores.
Organized by South Korea’s leading news agency, Dispatch Korea, this one-of-a-kind visual exhibit showcases exclusive and never-before-seen content and merchandise featuring eight major K-Pop groups today: BTS, Twice, Enhypen, Tomorrow x Together, Stray Kids, NCT Dream, NCT 127, and Seventeen.
D’Festa officially opens to the public from Dec. 20, 2024 to Mar. 19, 2025, at the 3F and 4F BGC Immersive, One Bonifacio Highstreet in Taguig City. Last Dec 18, The Beat Manila got a first look at this exciting exhibition and we’re taking you through all the things you can expect and if it’s worth your time and dime to visit.
What is D’Festa?
Festa (or festival) is a term often used by Korean artists to celebrate milestones in their careers. The D in this Festa stands for its producer, Dispatch Korea, South Korea’s most innovative social platform delivering all the latest news, gossip, and information about your favorite K-Pop celebrities. As the agency celebrates its 10th anniversary since launching in 2008, they’re bringing together 63 of the biggest K-Pop artists into one massive celebration.
“D’Festa started with just a dream about a stage where all these 63 big artists gather together and be united forever,” said Soyoung Shin, Managing Director of D’Festa BGC. “And now, they’re making it into a reality. It’s my honor to bring you these 63 big artists as we celebrate the 10th anniversary of Dispatch Korea. Let me introduce to you the best K-Pop lineup!”
This visual exhibition is more than just your regular display of photographs and memorabilia but adds an immersive aspect to it that aims to elevate your K-Pop experiences.
Having been set up in several cities starting from Korea to Japan, Taiwan, Indonesia, and the United States, the Philippines is about to bear witness to archival and original content, which was collected by Dispatch over the past ten years. We’re talking never-before-seen concept photos, behind-the-scenes and live performance clips, and even handwritten notes by your favorite K-Pop stars!
Of course, a K-Pop experience isn’t complete without merch. This event offers a wide range of exclusive merchandise you won’t find anywhere else. You’ll find all of this at the heart of the Philippines’ lifestyle district.
What To Expect
D’Festa has three sections, each offering a distinct experience. In each zone, you’ll find all-exclusive and original content of the K-Pop artists, ranging from photographs and personalized artworks to video features that are animated with LED technology. This massive project showcases new sides of your favorite idols and tells the story of the collective decade of Dispatch Korea.
In The Exhibition, walk through halls of portraits of your biases and strike a pose beside them. These poster-sized photos are signed with handwritten notes and dedications by the stars themselves. Further into the section, you’ll find black-and-white solo portraits expressing artistic emotions, as well as a hall filled with snapshots of artists by Dispatch over the years.

And finally, discover never-before-seen concept photos for each group and individual members. This has to be our favorite because it was like being gifted with a new comeback, in which K-Pop artists are known to embody a particular theme for their upcoming album. We thought each concept fit the groups well, and it was such a treat seeing new photos of them.
The exhibition also featured artworks painted by the artists themselves, which is presented alongside video presentations of how they made it. There’s also a message wall where you can write a little something for your favorite idols. We absolutely did not write “Yoongi, marry me.”

The Movie features exclusive performance footage by the eight K-Pop groups on virtual stages created using cutting-edge XR filming technology. This spectacular stage is something you’ve never seen before, even in music videos. Grammy-nominated boy group, BTS, performed their hit single “DNA” on this stage and you can watch it front row and center! You can also enjoy a highlight version, including performances on LED stages.
Become part of the stage with your favorite K-Pop idols in The Experience, which is a space set up with a massive wall-to-wall screen on one side, and a mirror on the other, creating a space where you can immerse yourself in a 3D LED stage. We had loads of fun taking selfies and dancing to our favorite tracks like Twice’s “What is Love?” and BTS’ “Permission to Dance.”

The Experience extends to the fourth floor where you’ll find more photo spots such as the group standees where you can sit and pose right next to your bias, and the Photo booth where you can take shots with your friends and family to commemorate your visit.

You won’t be going home empty-handed when you come to this event because at the end of the exhibit is a merchandise store selling a variety of official D’Festa goods including postcard-sized photocards (P180), D-Festa group posters (P880), plastic folders featuring idol portraits (P280), foldable bags with artist’s paintings (P1,780), Artist enamel pin badges (P1,290), SD Stickers (P580), Tattoo sticker sets (P290), and Calendars (P1,080).
Other merch highlights that we thought you should try and get your hands on are the D’Festa Seoul Exhibition Book (P1,640) and the T-shirt designed with each of the group’s personalized artworks which you can get for P2,350. If you have a bit more money to spare, The Movie Complete Edition is the perfect souvenir for P8,700 and includes the exhibition book, the Movie, and Blu-ray CD.

You can also relax and unwind at the D’Festa Café, which sells hot and cold beverages for P250 and comes with a random artist cup sleeve!

Tickets and Bookings
Entrance passes can be booked via their official website here, and gives access to all three sections of the exhibit at a particular time slot. Tickets are priced at P1,200 on weekdays (Mon-Thu) and P1,450 on weekends (Fri-Sun). They’re also offering discounted passes for PWDs and Senior card holders.
Only those with tickets can buy from the merchandise store and each ticket purchase comes with — as is tradition with K-Pop albums — a random exclusive D'Festa BGC photocard with a sling!
Should You Go?
After the experience, you can see that fans left with big smiles on their faces and bags filled with new merch. More than its idols and amazing performances, K-Pop is all about the community and the people you share it with. It’s true that you never really go alone to K-Pop events and if you do, you are most likely to make a friend whom you share the same faves with.
Technical-wise, we thought it lacked the immersive aspect. The LED animations were quite impressive but we would’ve loved to see more content that emphasized the technology. Also, perhaps seats in the movie room so fans can spend more time enjoying the film; a chance to take photos with the idols in the photo booth; and more mirrors in the exhibits to take selfies in.
However, this doesn’t change the fact that it was a fun experience and fans will surely enjoy it as it’s a fresh and innovative way of engaging with the K-Pop world. As Soyoung said, “Through these exclusive features fans will gain a deeper insight into their favorite groups, uncovering the new size of their journey in the industry through the years. It’s a K-Pop experience you will never forget.”
