ICYMI: Ayala Avenue Extends Car-Free Sundays Until December
Good news, everyone! Makati's car-free Sundays at Ayala Avenue are extended until the end of the year. Through a social media post, Make It Makati announced that the original month-long initiative is running until December.
To promote a healthier and family-friendly environment, the city of Makati has launched an exciting initiative in partnership with Ayala Land. Starting from Sept. 10, residents can now enjoy the freedom of biking, walking, jogging, and engaging in other fitness activities along the entire stretch of Ayala Avenue. The designated area for these activities spans from Salcedo-HV Dela Costa to West Street and Fonda Street. This opportunity is available every week from 6 AM to 10 AM.
To encourage active participation, Make It Makati has organized a diverse range of activities that are open to everyone. These include invigorating yoga sessions and fun run events, fostering community engagement and promoting a healthier lifestyle for all. Join us in this wonderful initiative and embrace the benefits of an active and vibrant city.
If you're up to leveling up your usual Sunday morning, check out Make It Makati's Facebook page to learn about their upcoming activities.
