It might be April Fools Month, but these shows are not fooling you with their stories! Reunite with Popoy and Basha at “One More Chance: The Musical” or watch the international musical “Rent” as it opens its doors in Manila.

One More Chance, The Musical
Relish Popoy and Basha’s story one more time, but this time, meet them on the theater stage at “One More Chance: The Musical.” The classic and well-loved Filipino film is translated to stage accompanied by the songs of the OPM band, Ben&Ben.
Their not-so-perfect love story has touched a lot of hearts and has told the untold story of some. Don’t miss out and see them in theaters this month!

Kung Paano Nanalo Sa Karera si Rosang Taba
A story about winning in life, Maynard Manansala and Rody Vera’s “Kung Paano Nanalo Sa Karera si Rosang Taba” is racing once again in theaters this year. Named one of the best Filipino theater shows in 2023, join Rosa as she races against her oppressors and makes possible the impossible.
Be limitless with Rosa and learn a lesson or two in fighting for your liberty. Starting on April 19, the play at UP Diliman is one for all ages so feel free to bring your kids to this restaging of Dean Francis Alfar’s children’s book.

Theater and OPM fans are in for a treat as the most-awaited Parokya ni Edgar (PNE) musical is opening its curtains this month. Directed by Dexter M. Santos and written by Rody Vera, discover how all four female leads face the ups and downs of life using the music of the classic OPM band.
Just like how the PNE song goes, “Magbabagsakan dito,” the musical is expected to leave everyone in awe.
