Heads up, K-drama fans! The highly anticipated Philippine adaptation of the popular South Korean series “What’s Wrong with Secretary Kim” is premiering in Viu in March.

In an Instagram post, the online streaming company revealed that the series will be coming exclusively to their platform this March. “Keep your eyes peeled! We are about to let you in on ABS-CBN Studios and Viu's highly anticipated collaboration project for 2024,” the caption reads.

The announcement gained attention from fans who are excited about the series, taking several spots on the trending topics of X (formerly Twitter).

Originally released in 2018, the romantic comedy series was based on a webtoon that follows the story of Lee Young-Joon, an overbearing and workaholic vice chairman of a major corporation, and his competent secretary, Kim Mi-So, who, after nine years of service, decides to resign. The resignation shakes Mr. Vice Chairman’s world, so he does everything to keep Secretary Kim by his side.

Filipino stars Kim Chui and Paulo Avelino will take on the lead roles of Secretary Kim and Mr. Vice Chairman, who were originally played by Park Min-Young and Park Seo-Joon respectively.

The local version will be produced by the award-winning Dreamscape Entertainment, the same producer behind the remake of international series “Flower of Evil” and “The Broken Marriage Vow” and hit Filipino series like “Dirty Linen,” “Senior High,” and “Marry Me, Marry You.”
