5 Spots in Singapore to Eat Authentic Nasi Lemak Dishes
Singaporean cuisine is the product of Chinese, Indonesian, Indian, and Malaysian influences. No wonder why many Singaporeans love this Malaysian staple called nasi lemak.
Originated in Malaysia, nasi lemak is an all-day meal made with coconut milk, sambal, egg (fried or hard-boiled), peanuts, anchovies, shrimp paste, and other condiments.
Generally, nasi lemak is wrapped in a pyramid-shaped banana leaf paired with fried chicken, fish, and a lot more.
From traditional recipes to a fresh twist, we’ve listed some of the food establishments that serve this popular dish around the Lion City.
