To tackle the ever-evolving landscape of financial technology, the Singapore FinTech Festival (SFF) is kicking off its eighth edition starting tomorrow, Nov. 15, until Nov. 17 at the Singapore Expo.

With the theme “AI for good. AI for good?,” SFF 2023 will convene fintech leaders and experts from across the globe to discuss the advantages and disadvantages of generative artificial intelligence (AI) and Web3 solutions in the industry.

Featuring more than 800 speakers from various firms, the festival will cover eight key topics in line with the theme. This includes beneficial AI, empowering entrepreneurship, efficient payments, and advancing talents.

Apart from these, the convention will also build on prior conversations regarding low-carbon transitions, digital economic resilience, and expanding financial access for underserved populations, among many others.

Moreover, Tharman Shanmugaratnam, president of the Republic of Singapore; Ajay Banga, president of the World Bank; and Kristalina Georgieva, managing director of the International Monetary Fund, will headline the event. Representatives from Malaysia, the Philippines, Indonesia, and financial firms will also deliver talks.

Another thing to look forward to from the festival is the SFF Exhibition, which will feature about 700 exhibitors across five zones: Technology, ESG, Founders, Regulation, and Talent. At the Innovation Lab Crawl, attendees can also witness some of the best emerging innovations in the industry.

SFF 2023 is co-organised by the Monetary Authority of Singapore, Constellar, Elevandi, and the Association of Banks in Singapore. Learn more about the festival by visiting its website. You can also get your passes here.
