A Guide to Adventure Cove Waterpark: Rides, Treats, Rules, and More

Guide to Adventure Cove Waterpark

School's out! What screams summer better than a water park? It brings every kind of fun imaginable for the entire family, and is the perfect haven to combat the sweltering heat. Water parks run aplenty in Singapore, but one of the best places to go is Adventure Cove Waterpark, situated inside Resorts World Sentosa.

This water park features a wide range of thrilling rides and attractions, as well as establishments to ensure you and your loved ones get to have an unforgettable time during your stay. If you're planning a swimming trip with the family to cool off this summer, Adventure Cove Waterpark should be on top of your list. Here’s what to know about the water park ahead of your visit!

Rides and Attractions

Guests at Adventure Cove Waterpark are spoiled for choice, as it offers 14 fun themed zones for children and adults alike. The water park's namesake ride, Adventure River, will have you floating along a slow-moving river as you take in the gorgeous scenery. This ride requires children under 122 centimetres in height to be accompanied by an adult.

Those with a competitive spirit should try the Dueling Racer, where parkgoers can race against a partner down a thrilling two-lane waterslide. For adventure junkies, make sure you don't miss the Pipeline Plunge, where you'll take wild turns and twists in a dark tunnel before plunging into the waters, and the Riptide Rocket, which will have you defying gravity on a hydro-magnetic coaster even though you aren't the Wicked Witch of the West.

Meanwhile, if you've ever wondered as a kid what it must feel like to be inside a moving washing machine, the Whirlpool Washout might just give you an idea! On the other hand, animal lovers will appreciate the Ray Bay Encounter, which allows one to get up-close with these magnificent marine creatures, and the Rainbow Reef for some wonderful snorkeling experience. If these aren't enough, there's also Dolphin Island, which allows you to interact with Indo-Pacific bottlenose dolphins and learn about their anatomy, habitats, diet, and more.

Other exciting rides and activities you can check out are the Tidal Twister, Spiral Washout, Seahorse Hideaway, Big Bucket Treehouse, and Bluwater Bay (Splashworks is temporarily unavailable).

Where to Eat

Exploring the wonders of Adventure Cove Waterpark throughout the day means you'll be parched and your tummy grumbling from hunger. Fret not! The park has a Hot Dogs and Drinks Cart where you and your family can refuel and chow down on some hotdogs, nachos, and ice creams before going back to your water activities. There's also Blu Ice Treats for savoury, mouthwatering snacks like sandwiches, corndogs, and popcorn chicken.

Where to Shop

The water park has a store within in case you forget your flip flops or just want new swimwear to don. You can find these essentials and other fashion items at Reef'n Wave, where you can also check out nifty souvenirs and collectibles to keep for yourself or give as gifts to loved ones.

Cabana Rentals

To enjoy the water park in luxury, there are private cabanas for rent, so you can have your own shade to lounge in as you take breaks from the pool. There are three cabana locations in the water park, namely in Bluwater Bay, Seahorse Hideaway, and Adventure River Gardens, with rates ranging from S$88-S$186. Each cabana rental package requires a one-day ticket; it comes with two towels, complimentary access to a locker, and F&B vouchers worth S$25-S$35. You can book them here.

Dress Code

The water park follows dress code rules, so make sure you are aware of these before your trip. Permitted swimwear includes swimming or waterproof diapers, board shorts, swimsuits or bikinis, wet suits or body suits, goggles, full-body swimwear, round neck T-shirt, and water shoes or booties. Guests are not allowed to wear diapers or napkins, undergarments, jeans, jackets, long skirts, clothes with buttons and zippers, or attires with buckles in the attractions.
