They say that transits and layovers are never boring in Singapore because Changi Airport, being the best in the world for the 12th time, has everything passengers will ever need. From restaurants to entertainment spots, there are plenty of exciting ways to spend (and waste) time.

But you don’t have to limit yourself within the city-state’s aviation hub anymore.

In a press release published on April 3, the Changi Airport Group (CAG), Singapore Airlines (SIA), and Singapore Tourism Board (STB) announced that they’re relaunching their free tours to introduce travellers to the interesting sights of the city-state.

After a three-year hiatus, the City Sights Tour, Heritage Tour, and Jewel Tour have been refreshed to include more points of interest in their itineraries. A brand-new Changi Precinct Tour has also been introduced, which aims to take travellers to the eastern region surrounding Changi Airport where they can visit the local community.

“The Free Singapore Tour was very popular among our transit and transfer passengers prior to the COVID-19 pandemic, and we are happy to bring it back with the resumption of travel,” Executive Vice President of Air Hub & Cargo Development at CAG Lim Ching Kiat said.

“We hope that the tour will inspire transit and transfer passengers to plan a longer trip to Singapore in future, and discover much more of what our vibrant city has to offer,” Assistant Chief Executive of STB’s Marketing Group Chang Chee Pey said.
