It’s time to get physical, everyone!
The ActiveSG Sport Park @ Teck Ghee officially opened on Jan. 25, 2026, marking the transformation of the former Ang Mo Kio Swimming Complex into a new multi-sport community hub.
The upgraded facility along Mo Kio Avenue now houses a new variety of amenities that promote an active and holistic lifestyle, while also upholding inclusivity and comfort for everyone. The new space includes an indoor multi-generational swimming pool, a sensory trail and jacuzzi, a water playground for kids, an indoor futsal court, a two-storey gym, and 3x3 basketball & multi-sport courts.
Apart from this, the brand-new venue also boasts Singapore’s first-ever “Calming Pod,” a space dedicated to those who might feel overwhelmed and need a safe environment for self-regulation.
The opening was attended by Ang Mo Kio GRC MP Senior Minister Lee Hsien Loong, who noted that the new sports park reflects the government’s efforts through ActiveSG to help residents stay healthy and active at every stage of life.
Designed for users of all ages and abilities, the new park aims to be an inclusive neighborhood destination and mainstay for everyday sport, fitness, and community life.
