Jumpstart Your Dinner Dates with Singapores Intimate Dining in the Sky

Looking for an extraordinary and uplifting (literally) kind of romantic date experience? Singapore’s cable car will treat you to different sky dining options as you savour the beauty of the city skyline at 100 metres above sea level.

They offer various luxury cabins whether you want an aesthetically pleasing dinner, authentic bento dishes, or a bottle of Champagne and snacks. Each ride includes two round trips that may last for about an hour.

It is recommended to reserve a slot between 5:30 PM to 6 PM when you can enjoy the sunset from Faber Peak to HarbourFront and Sentosa.

Here are some sky dining options in Singapore you might want to try:

Destination-themed Cabin

If you’re one of many people who loves to visit Japan, but the coronavirus is stopping you, worry not because this private cable car will take you there through a gastronomical in-flight dining experience complete with panoramic aerial views for S$385 per couple.

The “Fly Me to Japan” exclusive in-flight dining includes a four-course Japanese spread complete with appetizer, soup, main course, and dessert. Plus, they offer a vegetarian-friendly menu.

Singapore Flavours Cabin

This one-of-a-kind sky dining option is perfect if you or your partner love the colourful variations and authentic flavours of Singapore-styled bento meals such as Chili Crab and Rojak with a twist!

As part of their way to celebrate local delights, guests are welcomed with a mocktail drink along with breathtaking views of Mount Faber Peak. Similar to the Destination-themed cabin, this private cable car also offers vegetarian and non-vegetarian bento menus.

Champagne Cabin

Bask in the beautiful sunset and warm conversations with your significant other while having a perfect sip of your favourite Champagne. This sky dining option will complete your evening as it offers a pre-dinner flight with an appetizing modern European menu including Laurent Perrier Champagne, Halibut Beer-Battered Fish & Chips, Fromage, Breaded Oysters, Truffle Fries, and more.

The Champagne Cabin menu does not contain pork and lard.

Singapore’s SkyHelix Sentosa

Complete your heart-dropping date experience with Singapore’s SkyHelix that also offers astounding views surrounding the city-state that reaches up to 79 metres above sea level.

Located at Singapore Cable Car Sentosa station, SkyHelix is opening on Dec. 15 and is considered the highest open-air panoramic ride in the city-state. Featuring a vertical helix-like structure, it gently moves upwards in a spiral motion treating you with a remarkable 360-degree view of Sentosa and the Southern Islands.

Each ride costs S$18 for adults and S$15 for children aged 4-12 years old.
