Heads up, Hallyu fans in Singapore! Get ready to meet two of the hottest K-drama stars today, as French luxury jewelry and watch brand Chaumet is bringing Korean actor and idol Cha Eun-woo and actress Song Hye-kyo to the Lion City for its pop-up boutique launch.
Both Eun-woo and Hye-kyo are acquaintances of the brand, with the former being called the Maison’s friend and the latter its ambassador.
The two went viral for their prince- and princess-like visuals when they attended the Chaumet Gala in Paris earlier this year, wearing the brand’s exquisite pieces. Fans even called them “royal siblings" for their luxurious charms.
Song Hye-kyo is a popular actress known for her various worldwide-popular projects, such as “Full House,” “Descendants of the Sun,” and “That Winter, the Wind Blows,” among many others. She also recently starred in hit drama “The Glory,” for which she won the Best Actress Award for a TV Series in South Korea’s prestigious Baeksang Arts Awards.
Meanwhile, Cha Eun-woo is a member of K-Pop boy group ASTRO and has been known in the K-Pop world as the “face genius” for his unreal visuals. He has starred in various television series and movies since, including popular K-dramas “True Beauty,” “Gangnam Beauty,” and “Rookie Historian Goo Hae-ryung.”
