From the live-action adaptation of “The Little Mermaid” and the next chapter of Robert Jordan-inspired fantasy series, “The Wheel of Time”, to the final season of “Sex Education” and Money Heist’s Úrsula Corberó’s return to the streaming platform in “Burning Body,” here are the must-see movies and series to stream on Netflix, Amazon Prime, Disney+, and HBO in September 2023.

Inspired by the 1989 Oscar-winning animation of the same name, the 2023 “The Little Mermaid” tells the classic tale of Ariel, as she yearns for more than a life ‘under the sea’.

‘Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves’ | Sep. 30

Based on the fantasy tabletop role-playing game "Dungeons & Dragons," this movie revolves around the epic heist of a band of thieves on a mission to find a lost relic. Set in Forgotten Realms, one of the game’s campaign settings, the film chronicles how antihero Edgin gathered his thieving squad, as well as how they retrieved the magical tablet and discovered a scheme that will put Forgotten Realms in danger.
