Where to Buy Cheap Electronics in Bangkok
Bangkok is a city that you can buy anything in – from shoes to books, street food to Michelin- starred fine dining dishes. The Big Mango is not different when it comes to the sale of electronics, with the Thai capital famous for sourcing cheap electronic products: TVs, computers, cameras, plugs, and cables.
Pantip Plaza
If you are in the market for computer shopping, Pantip Plaza is your paradise. Often considered the mother-of-all IT shops in Thailand, the Ratchathewi mall is legendary for its shops that sell new and used computers, parts, and accessories at city-wide low prices.
We recommend travelling to Pantip Plaza if you are based in central Bangkok or are looking to build your own personal computer. On the second floor, many shops offer a one-stop service building your computer based on preferences, parts, and budget.

MBK Center
Considering your adventure into buying something techy revolves around getting a new phone, tablet, or touchscreen gadget, the MBK is your locale for such items. The MBK Center boasts the highest concentration of phone accessory shops in the whole city, including cases, SIM cards, software packages, batteries, and cables.
Be careful with buying second-hand phones here as iInternet reviews of the Center reveal that passed-on phones often break days after buying, much to the presumed guarantees of shop owners. We also suggest for you to bargain as you could save up to 15% off what retail is selling.

Fortune Town IT Mall
One can find the most diverse range of electronic products in the IT Mall of the Fortune Town mega-block, located in Din Daeng. Sitting opposite Central Rama 9, the Fortune Town mall is long, so be prepared for a day's adventure to find what you are looking for.
Prices are a bit higher as compared to Pantip Plaza or MBK Center, but new TVs, digital cameras, printers and scanners, and projectors are plentiful in the 500-meter-long Fortune Town. Go on weekdays as weekend crowds have returned to pre-pandemic levels, so best to avoid!
