Global design house Tiffany & Co. has unveiled its first-ever exhibition in Thailand, 'Legendary Legacy,' now open at One Bangkok, Tower 4, until September 7. It’s a rare opportunity to step inside the world of Jean Schlumberger, the visionary designer whose fantastical creations helped define Tiffany’s identity in the 20th century.
The exhibition unfolds across five immersive galleries, each themed around Schlumberger’s inspirations, from the lush tropics of Guadeloupe to the depths of the sea and the symbolism of flight. More than 50 archival pieces are on display, including the whimsical Elephant Head Clip and the vibrant Big Bird Clip, both showcasing Schlumberger’s signature blend of surrealism and technical brilliance.
But nothing catches more attention than the 128.54-carat Tiffany Diamond does, which is presented in its fifth and newest setting. “Discovered over 150 years ago, this extraordinary 128.54-carat stone is one of the largest and most important yellow diamonds in the world,” wrote the house on its social media.
Inspired by Schlumberger’s iconic Bird on a Rock brooch, the design features five diamond-encrusted birds in flight, encircling the radiant yellow gem. The piece took nearly 2,000 hours to complete, a testament to Tiffany’s unmatched craftsmanship.
