Sportswear Brand Anta Launches First Thailand Store at CentralWorld
As part of its efforts to expand in Southeast Asia, Chinese sportswear retailer Anta has officially opened its first brick-and-mortar store in Thailand.
Located at CentralWorld, the new Anta store will allow Thais to score fits from some of their brands, including Fila, Atomic, Descente, and Armada, as well as its own line of sportswear items and accessories.
At the new store, Thais can look forward to a massive collection of clothing, equipment, and accessories through its 230-square-metre space. To celebrate Thailand’s sports and art culture, the brand also integrated a strong local design into the whole store.
For its opening, the brand likewise collaborated with basketball community SWISH to host an experiential basketball showcase event and with Thai actress Tina Suppanad, who made her debut as Anta’s runway creative director and stylist.
“Thailand, with its vibrant sports and street culture, as well as thriving retail landscape, presents an exciting opportunity for us to directly connect with its growing customer base, offering our products and apparel, to them in-store, in real life and in creating exciting experiences for the sports community in Thailand,” Anta said in a LinkedIn post.
The opening marks Anta’s fourth entry in Southeast Asia, following its store openings in the Philippines, Singapore, and Malaysia.
