Five-Star Meliá Pattaya Hotel Opening Doors This February

The Meliá Pattaya Hotel, a love letter to Pattaya’s rich cultural tapestry and a gateway to the Gulf of Thailand’s breathtaking vistas, is set to swing open its doors on Feb. 15, 2025.
Perched 12 stories high on bustling Pattaya Sai Song (Second Road), just a short drive away from Bangkok, this 234-room stunner isn’t your average five-star stay.
Highlights include the vibrant Lay Beach Club on Beach Road, directly in front of Pattaya Beach. Enjoy a brand-new rooftop restaurant with a sky bar, an executive lounge, a swimming pool with an adjacent bar and function lawn, Meliá’s YHI Spa, the Kidsdom kids club, a fully equipped gym, versatile co-working and meeting spaces, and more.

The five-star Meliá Pattaya Hotel marks the latest addition to the Meliá brand’s expansion in Thailand, following the successful launches of Meliá Koh Samui in 2020, Meliá Phuket Mai Khao in 2021, Meliá Chiang Mai in 2022, and INNSiDE By Meliá Bangkok Sukhumvit in 2023.
“My team and I are looking incredibly forward to the debut of Meliá Pattaya Hotel and to delivering Meliá’s warm Spanish hospitality, distinctive passion for service, and focus on the customer’s wellbeing at our one-of-a-kind hotel in an unbeatable location,” Meliá Pattaya Hotel’s General Manager Javier Gimeno commented.
The hotel’s dining venues reflect Pattaya’s diverse culture, including its shrines, markets, and the historic Chinese communities of Chonburi. Want rooftop dining with Cantonese flair? Try Yitong Chinese Restaurant & Sky Bar, featuring sunset views of the Gulf that’ll leave you speechless. Or head to Sanehh Sarae, the all-day dining spot that channels the soul of Bang Saray fishing village. Craving Nikkei cuisine? Den serves up Japanese-Peruvian cuisine, a nod to nearby Si Racha, also referred to as “Little Japanese Town.”

The hotel’s design is a masterclass in cultural immersion, its lobby is inspired by the vibrant Nong Mon Market, while the pool bar pays homage to Jomtien Beach’s 60s and 70s American expat era. Even the rooms — ranging from cozy 27 sqm Deluxe Rooms to the sprawling 125 sqm Presidential Suite — are crafted to make you feel like you’re living in the heart of Pattaya’s story.

Families take note: the pool’s got a slide that is sure to thrill the kids, while Kidsdom offers an “under the sea” adventure inspired by Koh Pai Island’s wreck dive site.
Business travelers aren’t left out either, with sleek meeting spaces that are also suited for casual business meetings, a coworking area, and two ballrooms bathed in natural light.
To celebrate its opening and welcome its guests, Meliá Pattaya offers MeliáRewards members a Deluxe Room starting at THB3500 net per night (with breakfast and resort credit thrown in) for two adults and one child aged 11 or below. Book now for stays between Feb. 15 to June 30, 2025.
Location: Meliá Pattaya Hotel, 370 Moo 9 Nongprue, 20150 Pattaya, Thailand
